Another Great Trip
It was another great trip, and it was made even better thanks to our Maui Twitter page. Not only did the services of Twitter, TwitPic, and brightkite help me bring our trip to you, it brought a new level of interactiveness to the vacation experience.
You see, as I was tweeting away on vacation and posting photos to TwitPic, my tweeps were replying back. They were sharing comments, feedback, restaurant recommendations, you name it. With a good number of those Twitter friends being on the island of Maui, it was like having friends around every corner. It was a truly remarkable and rewarding experience.
While this year's trip had to come to an end, this little experiment will be back with us the next time we set foot on the Valley Isle.

The pizza was amazing. I always forget how awesome it tastes with real Maui pineapple and not the stuff we have back home. And to answer the discussion we were having during lunch at Kona Grill a few months ago, the Hawaiian pizza here has ham on it (not Canadian bacon or Spam). Very, very ono (delicious).

I'm drooling over the carrots (have you seen the 'carrot' picture in my "Around NYC" album on FB?).... and the pizza.

Well, it's been a few days and although I've hit a few snags along the way, I think it's been somewhat interesting to keep this Twitter going so far. I'd love to hear what others think about it, whether you think it's neat or is something you wouldn't really care for.
All feedback is welcome, this is an experiment after all and the measure of it's success is really what other people reading this are thinking. In the worst case, I have a mini travel log of things we've done throughout this trip.
Mahalo.

Finished just in time. Our Maui Twitter page is now live and will be providing updates for our entire trip. We will also plan for using the archives from this Twitter as part of our Trips section once we return.
