Overview
Anyone that has been online in the past few years have more than likely stumbled across at least one blog on their favorite subject. Well, Maui is certainly no different.
As with all subjects, there are blogs that are insightful, some that are witty, and even a few that might not be that great. The ones we have listed here are some of the best Maui and Hawaii blogs we've found out there. We subscribe to these blogs via their RSS feeds and contribute in the discussions from time to time.
So if you're looking for a few good blogs to read for all things Maui, your search just got a little easier.
Our Favorite Maui Blogs
Here's the list of our favorites.
Go Visit Hawaii - http://www.govisithawaii.com
Go Visit Hawaii has to be one of the best, down to Earth Hawaii travel guides that you can find online these days. With fresh, new content added daily, it's earned a permanent spot in my morning online routine, and after only a few minutes, it's sure to find a spot in yours, too. There is coverage of all the islands with individual guides and filters per island if you so choose. Highlights include unbiased and honest reviews, great links and articles from across the web, and helpful tips and conversations from the site's many readers.

Maui Log - http://www.mauilog.com
Maui Log is like having a friend on the Valley Isle that has the inside scoop of what's happening in the travel industry. It's not geared towards finding the lowest rates or the latest airfare hikes, it's more of an editorial-style blog that touches on some interesting topics that you won't find too many other places.
Maui Online Guide - http://www.mauionlineguide.com
Maui Online Guide is brought to you by the same folks as Maui Log. This site is more travel oriented and caters to Maui fans looking to learn more about what's going on across the island. You'll find a good range of articles and insight that even seasoned Maui visitors can appreciate and benefit from.
The Maui Goodness - http://www.mauigoodness.com
The Maui Goodness blog is an extension of the website, Maui Information Guide. It's writers are all local residents, so you know you're getting the inside scoop. Topics vary from time to time, but their articles feature insight and commentary that you don't normally hear from traditional travel sources.
One thing to note, their blog is currently setup to only allow WordPress members to leave comments, which for a Blogger person like me, isn't accessible. Hopefully it will be more interactive in the future.
Maui Hawaii Information - http://maui-hawaii-vacation.blogspot.com
This next blog switches gears to a Maui local that gives her advice straight from the island. While not as extensive as the blogs on this list so far, it's nice to have take on things from someone living on the island and who wants to share the best of Maui with you.
Maui - http://randiandimaui.blogspot.com
With a rather simple title, this blog has gone dormant for some time now. You can check it out for yourself to get all the details, but in short it is a personal blog from someone that packed up her stuff and moved to Hana, and chronicles some of the challanges as well as the joys of doing so. No travel advice here, but it offers an up close and personal look at life in a rainforest, disconnected from much of the world.
A Maui Blog - http://www.amauiblog.com
Another great local blog featuring life as it is on Maui. Liza and her family have been living on Maui for almost 15 years now, and you'll find many great posts and photos of what it's like living on the Valley Isle. A Maui Blog also features local news and events fairly regularly, as well as a great network with other local websites and blogs, and a strong reader base that likes to talk story. Be sure to check it out and join in the fun.

Aloha David.
Mahalo for subscribing to the blog feed and for the compliments about the website.
It has took me about 5 years of doing web development to get to the point where I am today. If you would have asked me back then, I never thought I'd be able to do stuff like this.

Thanks for listing us! Ka'anapali Dreamin's RSS is also part of my morning routine. I wish I had half of your talent in putting together such a beautiful website.
