As mentioned last week, Cindy and I just received the DVD of all of the photos from our amazing vacation portrait session with island photographer Natalie Brown (www.nataliebrownphotography.com) back in February. Having our portraits taken on the most beautiful island in the world was such a magical idea, and have given us some of the greatest keepsakes from our Maui trips that we’ll probably ever have.
I’ll be writing more later this week about how this idea came about and why it’s such a great idea to look into if you love the islands as much as we do and you want to bring home such a personalized memento. In the meantime, you can check out more of our portraits in our Photo Gallery or view them as a Flickr Slideshow.
Mahalo and Aloha,

Beautiful photo of a beautiful couple on a beautiful island. Can anything get more beautiful than this?
Looking forward to your upcoming post. And when you come here on Sept. I think I might need some Flickr lessons from you
We are going to the beach tomorrow. How about you – what are you doing on Memorial day?

Flickr is a blast, I’d be happy to help out.
For Memorial Day, we’re hanging out over by my cousins’ place, which is our official Summer BBQ HQ. It’s 0.5 mile from the bike trails, they have their own pool and a park right next door. Too bad it’s cloudy and cold today, otherwise we’d go swimming.
Rather be at the beach, obviously.
Enjoy!

I came over from A Maui Blog and just wanted to say I’ll be back! As it is I’ve spent at least the last 40 minutes browsing photos and reading on here!
I love that you have a few shots of the area where we are thinking we will stay when we go to Maui in Sept. 2010…as our first time! And my dream come trip!!

Aloha Jennifer and E Komo Mai (Welcome)!
I’m glad you like our site and took the time to leave a nice note. I’m also glad you decided on a trip to Maui, too.
Liza (from A Maui Blog) and I are part of what I like to call a fairly strong Hawaii Blog/Twitter Ohana, so if there is anything you want to know about Maui or travelling to Hawaii in general, we’ll be able to point you in the right direction if we can’t help answer it ourselves.
I look forward to hearing more about your trip planning and some of the things you’re interested in doing while in paradise.
Aloha,
- Kris

Hey Kris
Your photos are lovely and what a great idea to get those shots. When you love Hawaii as much as we do its important to capture those important times with a perfect backdrop. You couldn't have picked a better place in the world, well done!
