Sunday Photo: Docked in Lahaina Harbor

Docked in Lahaina Harbor

This photo is from a couple of years back when we first visited Maui. It was taken aboard a water taxi, the Spirit of Lahaina I believe, that was taking us out to the Maui Princess for our Dinner Cruise. It was also our first time at Lahaina Harbor and seeing all the slots and different boats lined up there offering many different activities. Very photo-worthy.
Since then, we've been back quite a few times for other dinner cruises, sunset cocktail cruises, and even a whale watch. While we were in Lahaina last time, there was also a cruise ship "docked." Now, obviously a large cruise ship would certainly not fit in such a small harbor, so that big boat is anchored quite a ways off shore and a water taxi takes it's voyagers to and from the harbor.

Lovely photo, Kris.
Every time I see a photo of Lahaina Harbor, it always reminds me of the opening of Gilligan's Island. :)
LOL, there's a theme song that will be stuck in my head all morning. :)
... a three hour tour.
