Accessible from a short hiking trail at Haleakala National Park, 'Ohe'o Gulch, more commonly referred to as the Seven Sacred Pools, is a popular stop for folks visiting Hana. While technically not on the Road to Hana (it's about ten miles past Hana), visitors that continue onto Charles Lindbergh's grave will stop here for a dip.

This photo was actually taken from the bridge on Route 31 that passes over the gulch allowing you to get somewhat of a bird's eye view of the various pools. There are also a few pools on the other side of the bridge that are somewhat hidden, but still as picturesque. The pools themselves fill up rather quickly with visitors, so you if you want to beat the crowds, you're best bet it to get there earlier in the morning. Most guides recommend before 10am, in fact.

If you're a hiker, you're in luck as well, since there are many eye-catching hikes near and around the gulch as well.
